Treat yourself and your crafty friends to 2 hours of creative work and conversations in my bright and cozy studio in East Austin.
In this workshop, we will be using yarn to punch hand-drawn designs onto monks cloth stretched on an embroidery hoop! This is excellent for someone who want to get an idea on how to get started and does not require expensive equipments or complicated tools.
You’ll learn how to design, punch and turn your artwork into an one-of-a-kind accessory.
My teaching style is to help you learn the very basics, so that you can go on and create your own punch needle works afterwards. You can do so many things with these basic techniques - the possibilities are endless!
My studio workshop class size is kept small with a maximum of 5 participants per group to ensure each person gets quality guidance.
In this class you'll learn:
- How to thread and punch with a Punch Needle
- How to work with monks cloth
- How to apply the punch needle technique to create a colorful illustrations with yarn
Each workshop ticket includes:
- 6 yarn colors
- 1 embroidery hoop 8 inch x 8 inch
- 1 punch needle tool
- Cotton monks cloth with preprinted pattern
- Coffee, tea & snacks
Students will receive a 10% discount for any purchases made the day of class.
