Woven Heat

This piece is a small, centered abstract composition set within a large white mat and a light wood frame, giving it a clean, minimal presentation that draws attention inward.

The artwork itself is made up of tightly arranged, textured segments that are stitched, creating a tactile, almost fabric-like surface. These segments form a geometric pattern of rectangles and angled shapes that interlock and overlap. The color palette is dominated by shades of pink, magenta, coral, orange, mustard, and bright yellow—evoking warmth, energy, and light.

The composition feels dynamic despite its grid-like structure. Diagonal cuts and shifting blocks create a sense of movement, as if the colors are sliding or folding into one another. The repetition of the woven texture adds rhythm and depth, while subtle variations in hue and direction keep the eye moving across the piece.
